Yes, you hear me right Judah’s first tooth has broken the gums. He had been teething for the past couple of weeks, soaking his shirts and his bibs with saliva. I knew that they would come in soon just didn’t realize how soon. I feel like he is growing too fast for me. Really, teeth??
At eight months old Judah is now rolling around like a mad man, the other day I caught him gnawing on on our side table in the living room. He isn’t crawling just yet but he sure does try. He will put his little butt up in the air and then tries to push himself.
Where did my tiny baby go??
Judahs new thing is to stick out his tongue. And his favorite teething toy?? His stinky feet.
Okay so this post is just about a month late. Holidays are so crazy! Anyway. Judah turned seven months old on December 2nd. He has such a personality. So far he has been a pretty happy baby. We have night time down to a science. Bottle, diaper change, pajamas and then time for sleep. It was hard at first to get him adjusted to this schedule but it seems to work for us. When it gets close to bed time he starts letting me know. Nap time is another thing. He HATES nap time. He will fuss and roam around his crib and whine for a few minutes before he actually settles down for sleep. Oh yea, he is trying to crawl. Trying. He has the leg part down now just a matter of getting him to pick up and move his arms all together. I know, in due time.
Our very first Christmas as a family of three. This was by far top 5 of best Christmas’. This year David and I got our present a little early. Judah is more that I could have ever asked for. Judah is now 7 months old just a few days shy of 8 months old. So much has changed in the few weeks that have gone by.
There are no pictures of Christmas to post because with all the chaos of cooking and cleaning and taking care of Judah, pictures just slipped my mind.
This year we spent Christmas here with the family. My brother and his family came and my sister and her husband and their little bun in the oven Noah came too. My mom, sister and brother-in-law spent the morning making tamales. Ok so this was the first time that I had ever helped make them. This was all morning who knew that it was such a time consuming project. Well the morning was over and then we proceeded to make some posole and by that time people started arriving. The rest of the nigh was spent playing Rock Band and acting silly with the Wii. There were a few people missing but overall we had a great time. The next morning (Christmas morning) David, Judah and I came down stairs in our pj’s to open gifts. It was sweet just to lay around on the couch and enjoy the day.
November 2nd you turned six months old. You slept so good after your doctor visit today. 25 1/4 inches long and 15lbs 12 oz- you are getting so big. You got your six month shots today which you were NOT happy about, but you fussed only for a little while.
Your are such a personality too.
You coo and babble and on occasionally yell. Oh yea and you don’t really like laying back anymore. You stretch and pull just so we can sit you up. Having mommy or daddy sing to you makes you smile and giggle- I know we should try out for American Idol.
you LOVE your bouncer, you jump in that thing until you wear yourself out
smile when we say your name
you love to look at the tv
you grab at your toys or anything within your reach
you roll from your tummy to your back
you fight your sleep when you are really tired
and you hate your pacifier (makes for fun trips let me tell you)
Right now, I LOVE holding you and telling you that I love you. You truly are my dreams come true.
